GdS: From the ‘Fantastic Four’ to Milan’s opponent – Brescianini facing a heartfelt game
Marco Brescianini spent his youth with AC Milan and tonight he will face off against them with Atalanta in a game that means just that bit more.
La Gazzetta dello Sport write how for Brescianini the red and black colours represent a happy childhood, where everything began. During a Milan-Fiorentina match 10 years ago he was the ball boy, now he is playing for a team that are pushing for the Scudetto.
Indeed, tonight Marco will meet ‘his’ Milan again with Atalanta, as destinies cross again. After shining with the Primavera he got his senior debut with the Rossoneri against Cagliari in August 2020. A box-to-box player, he is inspired by Kaka and Kevin De Bruyne which shows his desire to create.
During his Milan youth team years he, Daniel Maldini, Calabria and Gabbia formed the Fantastic Four, ready to fight to make their dreams come true. They all succeeded, each taking different paths. Brescianini passed through Virtus Entella, Monza, Cosenza and Frosinone.
He manage four goals and two assists last season for the latter and he finally got his name on the scoreboard at San Siro, netting a free-kick in a 3-1 defeat. He spent the summer with his girlfriend and her golden retriever puppy, waiting for a call.
