Gavin Brindley Makes His AHL Debut
CBJ prospect Gavin Brindley made his professional debut against the Carolina Hurricanes in the last game of the 23-24 season. He played 12:20 in that game but had no other stats in the Jackets win.
Brindley made his AHL debut on Saturday against the Milwaukee Admirals. It was his first game this season after breaking a finger in this year's training camp.
In his first AHL game, Brindley was originally credited with two assists, but they have since taken one assist away from him and gave it to Luca Del Bel Belluz. He did get what would be his first AHL point later in the game when he assisted on Ole Julian Bjørgvik-Holm's first AHL goal. He finished with one assist, one shot, 2 PIM, and a plus-2 rating.

The Monsters played Milwaukee again on Sunday afternoon. Brindley would get another assist, this time on a goal by Luca Del Bel Belluz in the first period. He also had 3 shots.
Gavin Brindley, should he stay healthy, will be one of the best players on the Cleveland Monsters. The Monsters have won eight games straight, and having Brindley in the lineup is only going to help.
What's Next - The Blue Jackets return home on Wednesday to play the Montreal Canadiens.
