Beyond just the summer transfer window, FC Barcelona have big plans for the upcoming season. That is hardly surprising, however, given how ambitious and prestigious the Catalan club has always been. However, it must also be taken into account that Barcelona has been struggling so far in the transfer window.

To ensure that they achieve sporting success, it is crucial for Barça to guarantee new arrivals. The team needs a boost and the arrival of any top player understandably pushes that belief and mentality to win. Unfortunately, either due to finances or other complications, Barcelona are slowly missing out on some of their most important targets.

Thankfully, it does not need to be external signings that are the only arrivals that can enter the picture for Barcelona. In fact, the Catalan giants still have some key players missing due to injuries and those players are currently in recovery to return to the pitch as soon as possible.

The latest update, however, has shown that Barcelona may be in for a treat this year at a point not too far from now. According to SPORT, the sensations concerning 19-year-old Barcelona Golden Boy Gavi are now better than ever and his recovery is going at a great pace, one that could push his return to an even earlier date than before.

Previously, there were reports suggesting that Gavi’s return would happen at some point during November of this year. However, it is now being reported in the most recent update that he could end up recovering and returning at some point during October, pushing back his return by a few weeks as some reports were suggesting.

In essence, the young midfielder’s return would be considered as a new signing for Hansi Flick. The young Spaniard has the right blend of both technical quality and tenacity to thrive under the German coach, and it would appear that his recovery is something that Barça is paying close attention to.

The club has even recently posted videos of the player training on the pitch with the ball again. Gradually increasing the intensity with which he works, it is clear to see that Gavi staying behind in Barcelona to continue his recovery was a decision that is genuinely paying off.
