Galatasaray are not giving up in their pursuit of Nicola Zalewski.

In spite of the fact that negotiations have taken much longer than initially expected, the Turkish emissaries are still in Italy, attempting to unlock the deal for the Polish winger.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, the parties are still at work to solve the situation related to Roma’s asking price.

The Giallorossi’s demands are higher than what Galatasaray are willing to offer at the moment.

Zalewski would in fact have to lower his own wage demands in order to facilitate the success of the transaction.

The newspaper confirms that a new meeting is scheduled for today in Trigoria, in the presence of Souloukou and sporting director Ghisolfi.

If Zalewski were to stay, Roma would ask him with some insistence to renew his contract so as not to lose him for free next year.
