Galatasaray confirm signing of Norwich star Gabriel Sara

Turkish giants Galatasaray have confirmed the signing of Norwich midfielder Gabriel Sara.

Sara spent two seasons at Carrow Road, playing 85 times and scoring 20 goals.

The 25-year-old was also named in the Championship Team of the Season last time out.

But with the East Anglia side failing to gain promotion to the Premier League last term, speculation was rife about Sara leaving the club.

Everton, Aston Villa and Newcastle were all rumoured to be keen on his services but it’s been confirmed that he has joined the Istanbul giants for a fee of €18m.
