🦸 Fulham's new hero continues rich vein of form vs Brighton
Fulham have been one of the Premier League's early surprise packages this season, but they won't manage an easier goal than they managed against Brighton.
Just minutes into their home tie with Brighton, Bart Verbruggen passed the ball straight to Alex Iwobi, who gleefully fired into an open net to give his side the lead.
The Nigerian forward then sealed all three points with a late curling effort, putting the result beyond doubt.
It means that Iwobi, who now has five goals this season, has already beaten any of his seasons at Arsenal or Everton in front of goal.
In fact, he has equalled his tally from last season with almost 2/3 of the season left to go.
Alex Iwobi has scored more league goals in 14 appearances for Fulham in 2024/25 (4) than he ever did in a full Premier League season for Arsenal or Everton.
He's now just one goal away from equaling his PL tally with Fulham from last season. ⚽️#FULBHA pic.twitter.com/sc1g8Al6Yp— Squawka Live (@Squawka_Live) December 5, 2024
Just how many can he grab this season?
