The Cottagers did the damage in the first half as Rodrigo Muniz and Harry Wilson scored and created goals for one another. The Seagulls had ample opportunities to get back into the contest, but Evan Ferguson spurned two glorious openings. Adama Traore came off the bench to wrap up the three points for the hosts.
