Fulham 0-1 Man Utd - Collyer's clearance

Lisandro Martinez's deflected strike secured the points, but Manchester United owe a large part of their victory at Fulham to young Toby Collyer.

The 21-year-old midfielder came off the bench to make only his third appearance for the club, and not long after produced a superb clearance off the line to deny Joachim Andersen scoring an equaliser.

But aside from that he showed good quality on the ball and brought an energy to the Manchester United midfielder that had been missing until his appearance.

"I remember clearing it and thinking, 'has that gone over?," Collyer said afterwards.

Matchwinner Martinez was full of praise for his young team-mate, saying: "This guy is a big example for the young generation.

"He his working so hard everyday and he is so humble."
