Friday Roundup: Evan Werner's Three-Point Night Propels Michigan To Comeback Win
The No. 11-ranked Michigan Wolverines scored five third-period goals to take a road victory over No. 5 Boston University.
Sophomore forward Evan Werner scored twice in less than two minutes, including the game-winner. Werner also added an assist on Nick Moldenhauer's tally, marking his first three-point outing in a Michigan sweater.
Ethan Edwards and Jacob Truscott also tallied power-play goals to round out the scoring for the Wolverines.
Cole Eiserman provided the lone goal for the Terriers, giving him five in his first six games.
Graduate netminder Logan Stein picked up his third win of the year, stopping 22-of-23 shots on goal.

Cornell 4, North Dakota 1
No. 9-ranked Cornell continued their recent stretch of good fortunes over North Dakota, topping the Fighting Hawks 4-1.
The Big Red scored on three of their first four shots of the game and saw four different skaters find the back of the net overall.
Nick Desantis, Tyler Catalano, and Nicholas Wolfenberg tallied goals in the first period. Sullivan Mack scored late in regulation.
Dylan James provided North Dakota's only goal.
Senior goaltender Ian Shane made 23 saves.
Minnesota 3, Penn State 1
The No. 4-ranked Gophers scored three unanswered goals and topped No. 18 Penn State 3-1.
Junior forward Jimmy Snuggerud scored back-to-back goals in the second period, marking his first multi-goal game of the season.
Sophomore Jimmy Clark added the empty-netter with under a minute left in regulation.
Reese Laubach provided the lone goal for the Nittany Lions.
Gophers netminder Nathan Airey turned aside 21-of-22 shots on goal.

Boston College 4, St. Cloud 1
Teddy Stiga's shorthanded goal with 1:32 left in the second period broke a 2-2 tie en route to Boston College's 4-1 win over St. Cloud State.
Freshman James Hagens tallied a pair of assists, while sophomore Gabe Perrault found the back of the net twice for the Eagles.
Daimon Gardner and Gavyn Thoreson tallied goals for the Huskies.
Jacob Fowler turned aside 19-of-20.
Bemidji State 1, Minnesota State 0
Graduate forward Carter Randklev's fourth goal of the season proved to be enough as the Beavers topped Minnesota State.
Bemidji State has taken four consecutive matchups and seven of the last nine against the Mavericks.
Senior netminder Mattias Sholl stopped all 24 shots on goal and collected his second consecutive shutout.

The Buckeyes scored four goals in the first period and added five more in an explosive third period.
Sophomore forward Sam Deckhut led all skaters with a pair of goals and an assist. Max Montes also tallied two points on the night.
Notre Dame 3, Wisconsin 2 (OT)
Cole Knuble scored just over two minutes into overtime to lift No. 19 Notre Dame over Wisconsin.
Freshman Ryan Botterill scored his first career goal for the Badgers.
Junior goaltender Owen Say made 42 saves for the Fighting Irish.
