Yahoo Sports Free tickets, fireworks and giveaways: The Bellingham Bells are back with these fun events
Summer is right around the corner, which means Bellingham’s favorite baseball team, the Bellingham Bells, will be starting their season soon.
The Bells’ first game is Friday, June 2, and the Bells have released their promotional schedule of special games, events, giveaways and firework nights.
Here’s what you need to know about attending a game, and what special events will take place:
Baseball game tickets
Single game tickets can be purchased online, at the Joe Martin Field Box Office on game days after 3 p.m., or at the Bells Team Store from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday at 3111 Newmarket St. in Bellingham. Season tickets are also available.
Firework nights
Fireworks will go off immediately after games end, but only after certain home games. Firework nights take place:
▪ Saturday, June 3.
▪ Tuesday, July 4.
▪ Saturday, July 29.
▪ Thursday, August 3.
Free ticket nights
On Family Funday Sundays, children 12 and under can get free tickets to the game, as well as enjoy a bounce house, character visits and other activities. Family Funday Sundays take place:
▪ June 4.
▪ June 18.
▪ June 25.
▪ July 16.
▪ July 30.
On June 8, guests who bring their library card will be admitted for free. June 15 is youth baseball and softball night, where children who come to the game in uniform will be admitted for free. On July 13, children who wear a soccer jersey will also be admitted for free.
Giveaway nights
At certain games, guests can get free items. Here’s what game days have giveaways:
▪ Opening day pins and magnet calendar giveaway on June 2.
▪ Bell giveaway on June 24.
▪ Fanny pack giveaway on July 4.
▪ Baseball giveaway on July 6.
▪ Player roster giveaway on July 11.
▪ Beach bag and cooler can giveaway on July 15.
▪ Baseball card giveaway and post-game autographs on August 2.

Save these dates for other deals during the Bellingham Bells season:
▪ June 6, 13, July 4, 11, and August 1: 50% off tickets, select $2 draft beers, $2 off alcoholic beverages and entrees.
▪ June 14: $2 hot dog night.
▪ July 6: Game show night with giveaways every inning.
▪ July 12: Buy one get one free tickets for Besties Night.
▪ June 7, 14, July 5, 12 and August 2: ticket profits will go to support a local nonprofit.
