June is coming to an end and this means that several players will be so-called free agents tomorrow, with four of them at AC Milan. The likes of Mattia Caldara, Olivier Giroud, Simon Kjaer and Antonio Mirante will all say goodbye to the club.

Giroud and Kjaer were both thanked by the fans after the game against Salernitana in May, with a big ceremony for them and Stefano Pioli. However, they are still under contract with the club, albeit not for long as they will expire by midnight.

The same goes for the flop Caldara and the veteran Mirante. The former is expected to join Serie B side Modena on a free transfer, freeing up a lot of room on the balance sheet due to his high salary, while the goalkeeper has decided to retire.

Luka Jovic was another one of the expiring players but Milan decided to exercise the one-year renewal option in his contract. The Serbian certainly exceeded expectations and has agreed to be a deputy striker once again next season, which is perfect for the Rossoneri.

The transfer window will open tomorrow and Milan are expected to make some signings, keen on competing with Inter next season.
