Four Flyers Prospects Make Team Canada Camp

Four Philadelphia Flyers prospects have made roster for Team Canada's World Juniors camp.

Denver Barkey and Oliver Bonk, who are teammates on the London Knights, along with Jett Luchanko (Guelph Storm) and Carson Bjarnason (Brandon Wheat Kings) will be participating in camp.

Bonk is the only one out of that group has played in a World Juniors tournament before, representing Canada during the 2024 tournament. Barkey was in contention for that year's team, but didn't make it past the last round of cuts.

This group of prospects has been having incredibly successful seasons so far. Barkey was named captain of the Knights this season, and has 28 points in 21 games (including a five-point game on Sunday), while Bonk was named an alternate captain and as 21 points in 22 games. Luchanko, who became the youngest player to ever debut for the Flyers after making the NHL roster out of training camp, also received an "A" this year and has 16 points in 13 games.
