One former Tottenham player has admitted that he would want his former club to sign one current Chelsea player who is set to leave.

Chelsea will be looking to sell some players in the January transfer window next month, with Enzo Maresca even admitting to a couple of potential surprise departures in the winter window just last week.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea already agree terms for player to sign in the summer!

The club are not going to be keen to keep hold of any stragglers who are not playing much and who could become unhappy with the lack of minutes they are getting and then unsettling the apple cart, a cart that is actually very steady right now.

Maresca has a big task to keep all of his players happy and in fact, it is an impossible task.

A penny for the thoughts of players such as Ben Chilwell right now, who is not even getting a look in for the Conference League games like most of the other backup players are.

Chelsea clearly want Chilwell out of the club as soon as possible and are physically freezing him out. The onus will now be for Chilwell to find himself a new club. Could that club be Tottenham?

O’Hara would take him

Chilwell needs suitors

Spurs have been looking to bring in some reinforcements in Ange Postecoglou’s squad in the upcoming winter transfer window, and the left full-back position is supposedly one of the positions that the Lilywhites have been looking to strengthen this January, and former Spurs midfielder Jamie O’Hara has urged Daniel Levy to seek a possible loan deal for Chilwell.

Discussing potential incomings at White Hart Lane on Grosvenor Sport (via. Tottenham News), O’Hara said:

“I’d probably take Ben Chilwell on loan as well, because [Destiny] Udogie plays every single game.”

A this point I don’t think many Chelsea fans would be too upset if Chilwell made the switch to Spurs…
