Former TCU quarterback signs with UFL’s St Louis Battlehawks
Former TCU quarterback Max Duggan has signed with the UFL’s St Louis Battlehawks according to X, formerly Twitter, account MLFootball.

Duggan led TCU to the National Championship game back in 2023 before being selected by the Los Angeles Chargers in the 7th round of the #NFL draft

The Battlehawks are coming off a 7-3 season in 2023 and advanced all the way to the XFL championship game falling 25-15 to the San Antonio Brahmas.
Duggan had a standout career at TCU winning a Davey O’Brien Award, Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year and earning an All-American election in a record-setting 2022 season.
He led the Horned Frogs to one of the best seasons in school history ending with a loss to Georgia in the College Football Playoff National Championship game.
Duggan would declare for the 2023 NFL Draft and was selected in the seventh round (No. 239 overall) by the Los Angeles Chargers who released him on Aug. 19, 2024, before the start of the season.
Duggan joins a Battlehawks quarterback room with Manny Wilkins and ex-Alabama Crismon Tide star A.J. McCarron.
