Former NHLer John Scott Has Hilarious Response To Olivier/Reaves Fight From Wednesday Night
Blue Jacket forward Mathieu Olivier and Ryan Reaves from the Toronto Maple Leafs had a heavy-weight fight on Wednesday night. Just after puck drop, the two tough guys decided that they would get the fight out of the way early. It seemed to spark the Jackets. The same couldn't be said about the Maple Leafs.

The fight against Reaves was Olivier's 10th fight of the year, and first against Reaves.
Yesterday morning, noted tough guy and former NHLer John Scott took to X and gave a hilarious response to the fight. He talked about how he loved the fight and how the fight was "Two guys trying to knock each other's blocks off. There was no defense whatsoever." He finishes off by saying "Great Job!"
But that's not even the funny part. Scott goes on to ask any Lawyers or anyone watching, "Has anybody ever heard of a non-consenting adoption? I'm just spitballing ideas. I would like to adopt Mathieu Olivier. I think he is fantastic. I would love to have him as my son. I think this might be called kidnapping - The non-consenting adoption, but I'm just throwing it out there. I love this guy. I love the way he plays the game. I think he's a revelation in hockey players, he does it all. And he's only getting better, which is scary. Love the fight Revo and Mathieu! Keep it up. I loved everything about it. I just wanted to document this, because it was a fantastic fight. In an age where all you see is just a lot of swings and misses and people playing defense. It was a good one boys."

Mathieu has become the talk of the fans and media this season. Olivier is not just a tough guy, he's blossoming into a star player. He's already set personal records with 10 goals scored and 18 points. He needs just three assists to surpass his career assist mark with 10, and his 90 PIM is a career-high as well. He also has 3 game-winning goals to go along with playing over 14 minutes a night.
In every interview Don Waddell does, someone asks him about when he's signing Mathieu Olivier. Waddell would be wise to get it done quickly and not let this linger into the spring or summer.
What's Next - The Blue Jackets are back home on Saturday to play the waiting LA Kings.
