The attacking midfielder started his career at Manchester City, representing their U23 side before making the move to Sheffield United in 2020. Last summer, he joined Hatayspor in the Turkish Super Lig where he enjoyed his most prosperous campaign thus far, contributing with eight goals and three assists in 36 league appearances.

As Di Marzio explains, the Lagos native will sign for Lazio on loan with an obligation to buy set at circa €6 million. Dele-Bashiru also holds English citizenship, but opted to represent his native country Nigeria on the international level, making his senior debut last October. The midfielder managed to score a single goal in his two international caps.
