Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen SLAMMED by fans for 'POOR' Mikel Arteta claim
Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen has been slammed by Arsenal fans over his comments regarding the Gunners' approach to Sunday's game against Manchester City.
Last season's top two played out a 2-2 draw on Sunday with plenty of talking points being raised in the aftermath.
A late John Stones equaliser denied Mikel Arteta's side all three points at the Etihad Stadium after Leandro Trossard was sent off for kicking the ball away on the stroke of half-time.

The Arsenal boss was furious and said after the game that he expects at least 100 red cards in the Premier League this season after Trossard’s sending-off.
It meant the Gunners took a very defensive approach in the second-half to soak up Manchester City's pressure. The visitors failed to record a shot after the interval with Manchester City having 88% of possession after half-time.
Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen has been slammed by Arsenal supporters following his comments that contrasts Arteta's views on Trossard's dismissal.
"Great game yesterday but Arteta’s reaction and comments after were poor yet again. It was a certain red card for Trossard," Owen said on X.
Owen went on to say that City should be the team that feels hard done by after stating Riccardo Calafiori's equaliser shouldn't have counted, with Kyle Walker not being allowed to get back into position after being called over by referee Michael Oliver.
"The only team hard done by was City as Michael Oliver allowed the game to restart a couple of seconds too early in the lead-up to Arsenal’s equaliser," Owen added.

Arsenal fans jumped on the former Liverpool striker in the replies, with all of them criticising Owen's views about the game.
Why wasn’t Doku shown a yellow card for the same thing Trossard got one. Bet you won’t answer this question

So the referee is obliged to allow Man City some extra seconds grace to get back in position and defend,,, but he’s not allowed to give Trossard extra seconds grace between hearing the whistle & kicking the ball?
Ok, gotcha.

True. The ref should have allowed Walker to get back. If the captain was Ederson bet he would have allowed him to get back to the goalline pic.twitter.com/CQTkTBzFl4

Arsenal failing to match Manchester City's rivalry with Liverpool
Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool and Pep Guardiola's Manchester City has become one of the Premier League's best rivalries in its history with the two sides not only locking horns twice in a season, but for the title.
The games were guaranteed to have England's two best teams go hammer and tongue against eachother regardless of who was the home side.
Entertaining, heavy metal and tactical affairs were a guarantee when the two sides met and Bernardo Silva was quick to point out the difference between City's rivalry with Liverpool, and the one they now have with Arsenal.
"The difference? I don't know. Maybe that Liverpool have already won a Premier League, Arsenal haven't. That Liverpool have won a Champions League, Arsenal haven't.
"Liverpool always faced us face to face to try to win the games, so by this perspective, the games against Arsenal haven't been like the ones we had and have against Liverpool. So yes, maybe a different rivalry," Silva said in his post-match interview on Sunday.
