Former Kings Forward Lands Front Office Job with Flyers
The Philadelphia Flyers have announced that former Los Angeles Kings forward Wayne Simmonds will be joining the team as a community relations ambassador and hockey operations consultant.
The Flyers took to their Twitter/X account to send out a press release regarding a handful of hirings to their organization, headlined by Simmonds.

Simmonds, 36, is a native of Scarborough, Ontario, and played 15 seasons in the NHL. He spent the majority of the time with the Flyers and scored 203 goals and 175 assists for 378 points, along with 786 penalty minutes in 584 games.
He also played for the aforementioned Kings, New Jersey Devils, Nashville Predators, Buffalo Sabres, and Toronto Maple Leafs.
In total, Simmonds played in 1,037 regular-season games; he tallied 263 goals and 263 assists for 526 points.
After retiring on March 18th, 2024, Simmods will now move on to the next step in his NHL career, working in the front office.
