Hagg, 29, signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Golden Knights during the off-season. This was after he appeared in five games last season with the Anaheim Ducks, recording zero points, 21 hits, and a minus-4 rating.

The Flyers selected Hagg with the 41st overall pick of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. The 6-foot-2 defenseman played his first five seasons with the Flyers, where he had 13 goals, 47 points, 736 hits, and a plus-13 rating in 236 games. His time with the Flyers ended when he was traded to the Buffalo Sabres as a part of the Rasmus Ristolainen trade during the 2021 NHL Offseason.
Since being traded by the Flyers, Hagg has had stints with the Sabres, Florida Panthers, Detroit Red Wings, Ducks, and now Vegas. It will be intriguing to see if another club claims him off waivers from here. If not, he will join the Golden Knights' AHL affiliate, the Henderson Silver Knights.
