Hall is heading to the Carolina Hurricanes in a massive three-team blockbuster trade, with the Colorado Avalanche sending superstar Mikko Rantanen to the Canes as well. Here are the full details of the trade.
Hurricanes Get: Hall & Rantanen
Avalanche Get: Martin Necas, Jack Drury, 2025 Second-Round Pick, 2026 Fourth-Round Pick
Blackhawks Get: Third-Round Pick (& Retain 50% of Rantanen's salary)
The Hurricanes have been looking to upgrade their forward group, and now they have done that by acquiring Hall and Rantanen. Hall will now provide the Hurricanes with more offensive production in their middle six and another option for their power play. Rantanen, on the other hand, gives the Canes another legitimate superstar.
Hall, 33, has appeared in 46 games this season with the Blackhawks, where he has nine goals, 24 points, and a minus-15 rating.
