Former Bruins Star On Incredible Hot Streak

Former Boston Bruins forward Jake DeBrusk has found a great fit with the Vancouver Canucks. The 2015 first-round pick has had an outstanding start to the campaign, posting 13 goals and 22 points in his first 27 games.

However, DeBrusk has only gotten better as the season has rolled on. He is currently playing some of the best hockey of his career right now, and the truth is in his stats. He has seven goals and an assist over his last six games and 10 goals and 12 points over his previous nine contests.

This is some remarkable production from DeBrusk, and he is undoubtedly showing that the Canucks made the right call signing him. Simultaneously, he is demonstrating to the Bruins that they made the wrong decision not bringing him. This is especially so when noting that the Bruins' offense has struggled this campaign.

It will be interesting to see how DeBrusk builds on his hot stretch of play from here. If he keeps this up, he could smash his current career highs of 27 goals and 50 points by the end of the campaign.
