Former Bruins Star Fined By NHL
The NHL has announced that former Boston Bruins defenseman Dougie Hamilton has been fined $2,000 for diving/embellishment.

The NHL gave Hamilton his first citation after diving during the New Jersey Devils' Nov. 4 contest against the Edmonton Oilers, which resulted in his receiving a warning. Now, after receiving his second citation for breaking NHL Rule 64, he has landed this $2,000 fine.
Hamilton's second citation was given to him for diving during the Devils' matchup against the New York Rangers on Dec. 23.
Hamilton, 31, has five goals, 25 points, and a plus-1 rating in 41 games this season with the Devils. In 178 games over three seasons as a Bruin, he had 22 goals, 83 points, and a plus-23 rating.
