It is no secret that the Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers have bad blood. It is understandable, as they have faced off against one another in each of the last two post-seasons.

Without much surprise, today's (Oct. 14) matchup between the Bruins and Panthers has already been incredibly physical. However, former Bruins forward A.J. Greer took things too far.
During the first period, Greer drilled former Bruins teammate David Pastrnak with a hit from behind. He did not receive a penalty for the hit.
Bruins forward Pavel Zacha immediately stood up for Pastrnak following the hit and fought Greer.
Zacha may not be known for dropping the gloves, but he certainly gained more respect from his teammates for standing up for Pastrnak and fighting an experienced scrapper in Greer.
