Former Blue Jackets Defenseman Anton Strålman Comes Out Of Retirement To Play With Hometown Team In Sweden

Former Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Anton Strålman, a veteran of 938 NHL games, has come out of retirement.

In October he announced that he was finished playing hockey and was moving into coaching Women's soccer in Sweden. Now it seems he's back.

Strålman has signed a one-year deal with Tibro IK, a Division Three team in Sweden. He played for HV71 of the SHL last season, scoring 2 goals and totaling 16 points.

Tibro is Strålman's hometown.

What's Next - Columbus goes to St. Louis to play the Blues on Saturday night.
