Flyers Top Prospect Is Thriving In OHL
On Oct. 26, the Philadelphia Flyers returned prospect Jett Luchanko to the Guelph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). This was after the 2024 first-round pick appeared in four games with the Flyers, where he had zero points and a minus-3 rating.

Luchanko was not given consistent playing time with the Flyers, so sending him back to junior was the right call. He is now getting plenty of chances to succeed with the Storm, and he is undoubtedly taking advantage of them.
Luchanko is having a strong offensive season with the Storm, as he has five goals and 18 points in 15 games. He also has seven points over his last seven games with the OHL squad. This includes a two-assist night against the Owen Sound Attack in the Storm's last game.
Seeing Luchanko find success with the Storm is very encouraging for the Flyers. He has a very bright future, and it will be fascinating to see how he builds on his strong year from here. If he keeps this up, he will surely be considered for the Flyers next season.
