Flyers Made Right Move With Important Prospect
On Saturday (Oct. 26), the Philadelphia Flyers returned prospect Jett Luchanko to the Ontario Hockey League's Guelph Storm, ending the 18-year-old's time with the NHL squad this season.

While Luchanko's making the Flyers' roster right after being drafted was incredible, this move back to junior should greatly benefit the 2024 first-rounder.
Luchanko was scratched multiple times while with the Flyers, and that simply was not the best move for his development. However, he will have the opportunity to play significant minutes with the Storm. This should only help him improve his all-around game.
Luchanko will also once again be a crucial player for the Storm. During this past season with the OHL squad, he had 20 goals and 74 points in 68 games. It would not be surprising if his offense hit a new level this campaign with them, either.
In four games while with the Flyers this season, Luchanko had zero points, two penalty minutes, and a minus-3 rating.
