Flyers Provide Injury Update On Big Defenseman

The Philadelphia Flyers have announced that defenseman Egor Zamula is dealing with an upper-body ailment and is labeled as day-to-day.

Zamula is out for the Flyers' Jan. 24 contest against the New York Islanders. Veteran blueliner Erik Johnson replaced him in the lineup.

Zamula has appeared in 39 games this season with the Flyers, where he has three goals, 11 points, and 59 blocks. This is after the 6-foot-3 blueliner set career highs this past season with five goals, 16 assists, and 21 points in 66 games.
