Philadelphia Flyers captain Sean Couturier has hit a massive new milestone, as he recorded his 500th career NHL point in Saturday's (Oct. 26) matchup against the Minnesota Wild.

Couturier got his 500th career point in style, as he secured a Rasmus Ristolainen rebound in front before firing it past Wild goaltender Filip Gustavsson.

It took Couturier 803 games to hit the 500-point mark of his career. He also stayed hot after reaching his 500th point, as he added another two goals and two assists after it.
Seeing how Couturier builds off his excellent performance against the Wild will be fascinating. This is a big step in the right direction for the veteran.
