The Flyers have announced that Samuel Ersson will be between the pipes for this big game against the Rangers.
Ersson has been on a heater as of late, winning each of his last three games. This includes saving 27 out of 28 shots he faced against the Detroit Red Wings in his last start on Jan. 21. Now, he will aim to stay hot against the Blueshirts from here.
In 25 games this season, Ersson has a 14-7-2 record, a 2.70 goals-against average, and a .892 save percentage.
