York, 23, was absent from the Flyers' practice on Friday (Oct. 25). Now, we understand why, and it is less-than-ideal news. York is an essential part of the Flyers' blueline, so they will undoubtedly miss the Anaheim, California native while he is sidelined.
York has appeared in seven games this season, where he has two goals, one assist, and a minus-2 rating. Here's to hoping that the 2019 first-round pick has a speedy recovery and suffers no setbacks along the way.
Injury update: Defenseman Cam York (upper-body injury) is expected to miss a minimum of two weeks.
