After Hathaway made contact with Maple Leafs goalie Dennis Hildeby while crashing the net, McCabe fell on the Flyers forward and gave him a shot to the head while he was down. From there, Hathaway got up and dropped the gloves with the Leafs defender.
Both players got some good punches in during the scrap, but Hathaway had the clear advantage and landed the takedown. McCabe was shaken up after hitting the ice hard at the end of the fight and left the contest with an upper-body injury.
