Flick, Deco & Laporta agree on Barcelona’s transfer priority for January
Three leading figures at La Liga giants Barcelona have reached a consensus that one area of the club’s squad is in need of reinforcement with a view to the 2nd half of the campaign.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards the left wing as being the position in question.
Barcelona last week at long last returned to the 1:1 financial rule, making signings this month a legitimate possibility for the Catalans.
Equipped with this knowledge, the trio of Hansi Flick, Deco and Joan Laporta, in turn, recently sat down for a meeting.
And, during as much, it was decided that the lack of natural left wing options in the club’s senior ranks is in need of immediate addressing.
Not only that, but the Blaugrana’s two first-choice options were also laid out, in the form of Liverpool’s Luis Díaz, and AC Milan standout Rafael Leão.
It now remains to be seen whether either player is a realistic mid-season target.
