Five ways you can support CITC this Christmas
Manchester City and its charity, City in the Community (CITC), recently announced a new festive campaign, teaming up with fans to give young people the gift of football.
‘0161 Christmas Calling’ creates an opportunity for fans to come together with the Club to support its charity and local children’s hospitals.
There are several ways in which supporters, Members and specifically Season Ticket Members can get involved and support the charity and the local community during the festive period...
1: SEASON TICKET DONATIONS
In a new development for the 24/25 season, Season Ticket Members that are unable to attend a match can donate their match ticket refunds on the ticket exchange to City in the Community.
You can donate your refund to CITC for twelve matches throughout the season and this can be done up to seven days before each respective matchday.
Your ticket will then be listed for sale, giving another fan the chance to attend the match and show their support for the team.
Donating your match ticket refund, when you cannot attend a match, counts towards your minimum season ticket usage for the season and will also support City in the Community’s purpose of empowering healthier lives with city youth through football.
We have several home matches coming up, including Manchester United and Everton at the Etihad Stadium. If you cannot attend these matches, then you can support the Club’s charity through your ticket donation.
Each Season Ticket Member who “exchanges and donates” to CITC for the Manchester United or Everton match will be entered into a special signed shirt giveaway!
The winner will be announced in early January following the festive campaign, as a thank you to season ticket members for their support to CITC.

2: ‘DEFINITELY MAYBE’ SHIRT AUCTION
To support the ‘0161 Christmas Calling’ campaign, Noel Gallagher teamed up with Manchester City players.
Music and football fans alike can get their hands on exclusive ‘Definitely City’ 2024/25 shirts, match issued for City’s Champions League clash at home to Inter Milan - the first fixture which featured the ground-breaking new shirt.
Each one-off item is co-signed by music legend Noel and a Manchester City player, presented for a special auction thanks to MatchWornShirt.
50% of the profits will also be donated to Teenage Cancer Trust, based at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, for which Noel Gallagher is an ambassador.
The auction is running in three phases throughout the festive period, so keep your eyes peeled for each phase of signed shirts being released on MatchWornShirt.

3: DONATE AND WE’LL MATCH IT
Throughout the festive period, Manchester City is matching any additional donations made to the charity, to help increase overall funds up to the value of £75,000*.
Fans can donate at the tills in the stadium store, when checking out online during their purchase journey for match tickets or via the charity’s GoFundMe page.
