Bayern Munich bounced back from their 4-1 Champions League defeat to FC Barcelona in midweek, as Vincent Kompany's men thrashed VfL Bochum at Vonovia Ruhrstadion in the Bundesliga on Sunday.

Put in charge on an interim basis following Peter Zeidler's sacking, Markus Feldhoff saw his Bochum team lose 0-5 in his first game in charge.

Michael Olise opened the scoring with a direct free kick in the 16th minute before Jamal Musiala, making his first start since returning from a hip injury, made it 2-0 with a header 10 minutes later.

Harry Kane joined the scoresheet in the 58th minute, finding the net for the ninth time in the Bundesliga this season.

Second-half substitute Leroy Sané then made it 4-0 before Kingsley Coman rounded off the scoring with a superb finish.

The win saw Bayern retake first place from RB Leipzig on goal difference. Bochum remain bottom of the table with one point.
