After some dramatic midweek action, Serie A is back with a bang this weekend and we look at five reasons you can't miss the drama.
Juventus welcome Milan with differing fortunes
The standout fixture comes from Turin on Saturday evening where Juventus welcome Milan to town.
It comes just a few weeks after their most recent meeting in the Supercoppa Italiana semi-final in Saudi Arabia, where a penalty and comical own goal saw the Rossoneri come from behind to win in Sergio Conceição's first game in charge.
The Portuguese has yet to lose any of his four games in charge (winning three) and that is in stark contrast to opposite number Thiago Motta who just cannot stop drawing, with their latest stalemate coming in the derby against Torino.
That has increased the pressure on the Juve boss (despite the fact that they remain unbeaten in Serie A this season) - who is in much greater need of a victory than his opposite number.
Scudetto implications

While the marquee fixture may come from two of the country's traditional big-hitters, there is a different outing which is arguably greater given the impact it will have on the Scudetto race.
Table-toppers Napoli travel to Bergamo on Saturday night to take on an Atalanta side who are sitting four points behind prior to kick-off and will be out to establish their title credentials as they aim to make history.
The league leaders have been dealt a blow prior to kick-off with the departure of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and have been beaten 3-0 in their last two meetings with La Dea.
Having gone unbeaten in their last 15 games, they face a Napoli outfit who are aiming for a sixth straight Serie A win - leaving this one poised beautifully.
History close for rejuvenated Inter skipper

After his tough time to see out 2024, Inter captain Lautaro Martínez has been a man reborn of late.
He netted with an emphatic finish in the 2-2 draw against Bologna in midweek and against Empoli, the Argentine will fancy his chances given his history against them.
In his last seven games against the Tuscan outfit, Martínez has scored four times and also provided two assists and if he can find the net again this time, a prestigious place in Inter's history books beckon.
At present, he is on 110 goals which puts him just one behind Mauro Icardi as the club's all-time foreign goalscorer in Serie A. Would you bet against a brace that sees him overtake his compatriot?
Can subpar Soulé grasp his chance?

Roma face Genoa on Friday night and speaking prior to the game, coach Claudio Ranieri made it clear that there is one player who won't start - and he has a good reason for it.
Matias Soulé made his way into the club's 10 most expensive signings ever when he joined from Juventus last summer but has just one goal, no assists and has flattered to deceive for much of his time when called upon.
"I believe in him a lot and I'm convinced he'll be an important player of the future for Roma," Ranieri said when asked about his prospects. "He'll stay here with us because I believe in him. He's improving but I'm asking him to be more pragmatic so he can play more consistently."
That would suggest opportunities (which have been limited for a man who hasn't featured for a month) will be granted to him. It is time to take them.
Pressure on Palladino?

It would have seemed unthinkable just a few months ago that there would be talk of a Fiorentina crisis and criticism of new coach Raffaele Palladino after a fantastic start to the campaign.
They have just one point from their last five games and most recently lost to bottom side Monza, leading to local media speculation that the man in charge could even be dismissed and replaced with Igor Tudor - something he has came out swinging against.
"I have a great relationship with the club. Criticism can be positive but fake news brings a bad energy!" he warned on Friday. "I've realised that in Florence there's a little part of people which enjoys spreading that and it isn't good for the club."
Results will be the best way to repair relationships - starting against Torino.
