The start of the season has been rocky, to say the least, for Fiorentina as they have claimed just seven points in the first six games. Raffaele Palladino is thus hoping that the game against AC Milan can be a turning point for the team.

After parting ways with Vincenzo Italiano in the summer, who joined Bologna to replace Thiago Motta, Fiorentina decided to poach Monza’s Palladino. The latter had done okay with the Berlusconi club and wanted to make the big leap, accepting the job.

A few notable players left in the summer, such as Jack Bonaventura, Nico Gonzalez and Nikola Milenkovic, but some good signings were also made. Moise Kean has started the season well with five goals in nine appearances.

Having said this, Fiorentina have just seven points from their first six games in the league (1W, 4D, 1L). This is not good enough for La Viola and change is needed as soon as possible, with Palladino hoping that tomorrow’s game against Milan can be a turning point.

They have conceded as many goals as the Rossoneri, i.e. 7, but their goal difference is +-0 as opposed to their opponents who are on +7. Tomorrow’s clash, as such, will be an important one for both sides even if Palladino’s men are still the underdogs.
