Filip Chytil Continuing To Get Evaluated With Injury Status Still Unknown
Filip Chytil is still being evaluated for an upper-body injury that he sustained during the New York Rangers game against the Dallas Stars on Tuesday night.
Chytil was ruled out for the remainder of the night in the third period and Peter Laviolette did not provide any details into the specifics of the injury.
On Wednesday, Chytil did not practice with the team, but he was not placed on injured reserve or listed as day-to-day.
Laviolette was asked how long Chytil might be out for, and he simply said “being evaluated.” It’s unclear when or how Chytil sustained this apparent upper-body injury.
The 25-year-old forward has recorded 10 goals, seven assists and 17 points in 32 games while averaging 14:12 minutes.
