Jake "The Problem Child" Paul has lived up to his namesake leading up to his highly-anticipated fight against Mike Tyson. A former YouTuber, Paul knows how to market himself, how to create content, and how to build hype for events that he is involved in.

At Thursday night's weigh-in, Tyson slapped Paul after Paul allegedly stepped on his foot while the two were face-to-face. Paul wasted no time egging Tyson on. After Tyson left the stage, Paul told fans that Tyson made it personal, and that, "He must die."

Now, 24 hours after the second-most infamous slap between two celebrities, it appears Paul has not let that disrespect go.

Jake Paul: 'I'm knocking (Tyson) the (expletive) out'

During a pre-fight interview with Ariel Helwani, Paul said he was glad that Tyson slapped him, because that "made it personal."

"I’m so happy he did that. You know, this makes it real," Paul said. "When I beat his (expletive) in a couple of moments here, no one can say anything. People want to see me fail. They want to see me lose. They want to see me get knocked out. And then they’re going to make excuses for Mike Tyson when he’s the one that does that? But now they can’t. It’s personal. And I don’t care if we were friends before, but this is serious now and I’m knocking him the (expletive) out."

Why did Mike Tyson slap Jake Paul?

Later in the interview, Helwani explained Tyson's claim that Paul stepped on his foot. Paul was wearing shoes at the weigh-in; Tyson was not. Tyson believes Paul's actions were intentional.

While Paul did not deny stepping on Tyson's foot, he did not apologize. Rather, the 27-year-old antagonized Tyson, exclaiming in a baby voice, "Oh, I stepped on his wittle toe?" He continued, "Isn't he the big, bad Mike Tyson. He's just looking for any excuse to get riled up."
