Fenerbahce have rejected a bid of £21m for full-back Ferdi Kadioglu from an unnamed club.

Kadioglu has placed himself in the thoughts of recruiters after a series of excellent performances for Turkey at this summer’s European Championship.

The defender was a key figure as The Crescent-Stars reached the quarter-finals with only Lamine Yamal and Joshua Kimmich creating more chances across the tournament.

Last season, the 24-year-old led the Turkish Süper Lig among full-backs for key passes, progressive runs, and forward passes, while ranking second for dribbles and fouls drawn.

Comfortable on either flank, he has been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United, while Borussia Dortmund are also keen on a deal.

Turkish journalist Sercan Hamzaoglu has revealed that Fenerbahce have rejected an opening offer from an unnamed club worth £21m for the Dutch-born player.

New Fenerbahce head coach Jose Mourinho is keen to keep Kadioglu in Istanbul for next season, though faces a fight to hold onto the in-demand defender after his impressive performances at Euro 2024.
