Felix Unger Sorum Named Top 3 Player For Sweden At World Junior Championship
With eight points in six games and leading all forwards in ice time, Carolina Hurricanes prospect Felix Unger Sorum was named one of the Top 3 players for Sweden at the 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship.
The Swedish forward was a dominant force in the tournament exhibiting his top-end vision and also a good bit of skating and puck protection.
Unger Sorum was named along with Sweden captain Axel Sandin-Pellikka and David Edstrom.
Sweden suffered a heartbreaking loss to Finland in the semifinals of the 2025 World Junior Championship as they fell 4-3 in overtime, giving up a power play goal with just 34 seconds remaining.
Despite that, their tournament isn't over just yet as they'll now compete for bronze against either Czechia or the USA Sunday. The game will air at 3:30 p.m. on NHL Network and TSN.
