Federico Balzaretti returns to Roma as part of Ghisolfi’s scouting team

Roma welcome back former player and executive Federico Balzaretti.

The ex-Roma full-back returns for one more spell as member of Roma’s management following his previous experience shortly after his career as a footballer came to an end.

As reported by Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi has selected Balzaretti as the team’s new Loan Manager.

The position entails monitoring all players out on loan, a position he covered back in 2015.

Balzaretti was recently in charge of Udinese’s sporting and technical area.
