Seth Curry, Dal, G (4 games – 61% owned in Y! leagues) – The “other” Curry has cemented his place as a starter in the Mavs’ offense, returning top 50 roto value (17.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.4 steals, 2.7 treys, .513 FG%) in his past nine games, all starts.

P.J. Tucker, Pho, G/F (4 games – 29% owned) – Perhaps because the Suns are dangling him as trade bait, Tucker has seen a lot of run of late, averaging right at 32 minutes per game since the calendar flipped. In his past 10 games, he’s averaged 9.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.1 treys, numbers that, along with solid shooting percentages, have helped him push top 50 roto value in that span.

David Lee, SA, PF/C (4 games – 42% owned) – Lee has stepped up his game in the absence of Pau Gasol (broken hand), averaging 12 points (on .618 shooting) and 8.5 rebounds in his past eight games

T.J. McConnell, Phi, PG (4 games – 51% owned) – Over the past two weeks, McConnell ranks sixth in the league in assists (9.5), while also making positive contributions in steals (1.6) and shooting percentages (.508 FG%, .846 FT%) in that eight-game span.

Down and out: Players to avoid in Week 16

Portland Trailblazers (2 games) – Despite just two games, Damian Lillard and C.J. McCullom can still probably hold serve in Points and Treys, but that’s about it. Owners need to decide if that’s enough to merit a start.

Aaron Gordon, F (3 games) – Gordon’s numbers have been pretty hollow of late, as he’s averaging just 10.0 points (on .343 shooting), 3.8 boards and a combined 1.5 treys/steals/blocks in his past six games. With half the league slated to play one more game than him in the upcoming week, he’s an avoidable H-2-H option.

Trevor Ariza, Hou, G/F (3 games) – Ariza is mired in a brutal shooting slump, averaging just 7.0 points on .267 shooting over his past 10 games. In that span, he’s returned a roto value outside the top 170 overall. With a lighter schedule this week, keep him on the pine.

Notable injuries

Kevin Love, Cle, PF/C (4 games – back) – Love is expected back on Saturday after missing each of the past two games with a sore lower back. Owners will want to keep tabs on his health reports coming out of Saturday’s contest before turning him loose for his four-game slate in the week ahead.

DeMar DeRozan, Tor, G/F (3 games – ankle) – Having missed five of his past six games, and with just three games in the week ahead, DeRozan is a risky H-2-H play in the week ahead. He’s considered questionable for Friday night’s game – hopefully he can suit up and ease owners’ concerns ahead of next week’s lineup deadline.

Danilo Gallinari, Den, F (3 games – groin) – Gallinari is expected to sit Friday’s game out because of a tweaked groin. There’s optimism that he’ll only miss one game, but Gallinari is not exactly known as an iron man, so stay closely tuned to his progress reports over the weekend.

Joel Embiid, Phi, F/C (4 games – knee) – Embiid has sat in seven of the past eight games, and he’s expected to be sidelined for upcoming contests on Saturday and Monday. He’s looking too iffy to employ in Week 16.
