Fantasy football bye week: Top players who won't play Week 5
Bye weeks are necessary to give teams, players, coaches, and staff time off throughout the grueling season, but they're a conundrum fantasy football managers face every season.
NFL bye weeks occur from Week 5 through Week 14. Fortunately, the 2024 NFL schedule has just two instances where we will have a "Byemageddon" or a week with six teams on a bye.
From a fantasy football perspective, bye weeks create the most difficult start/sit decisions. Fantasy football managers must plan accordingly to have reinforcements ready to insert into their lineups if their top players are on a bye.
