Buy low on these fantasy football players in Week 8:

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Michael Mayer

As of now, Mayer has an average of 12.9 yards per game and has 10 receptions. In Week 6's game against the Patriots, Mayer scored 12.5 fantasy points. With Jimmy Garoppolo expected to return as quarterback, Las Vegas is set to face the Lions in Week 8. The Lions have given up a healthy amount of fantasy points to tight ends in every game this season.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Gardner Minshew

If you're a fantasy football manager looking for a reliable backup quarterback, Gardner Minshew is a great option for you. He has taken over for the injured Anthony Richardson and has thrown for over 300 yards in the last two games. In Week 7, he scored 27 fantasy football points against the Cleveland Browns and has proven that he can perform under pressure.

Los Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson Jr

Darrell Henderson Jr. has been added to the active roster prior to Week 8 due to injuries of both Kyren Williams and Ronnie Rivers, making him a valuable option for your fantasy team. Henderson Jr. scored 13.6 fantasy points in Week 7 and could be a solid short-term addition at running back for your fantasy team.

Arizona Cardinals running back Emari Demercado

Fantasy football managers might be considering dropping Emari Demercado from their team because he hasn't scored many points lately. In the Week 7 game against the Seahawks, Demercado managed to get 58 rushing yards from 13 attempts. This could be a good opportunity for fantasy managers to buy low on Demercado and add him to their roster, hoping he will perform better in an easier Week 8 matchup.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed

With Christian Watson a question mark due to a knee injury, Jayden Reed will likely be a key player for the Packers in Week 8 against the Vikings. Jordan Love will rely on Reed to make more plays for the team, making him a good player to buy low and add to fantasy football managers' rosters.

Sell high on these fantasy football players in Week 8:

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice

In Week 7, Rashee Rice showed a solid performance for the Chiefs. He ran a career-high of 30 routes and had five receptions for 60 yards and one touchdown, earning 17 fantasy points. This game proved that Rice is a reliable wide receiver, making him a good option to have on any fantasy team.

However, If you are in a strong wide receiver position in your fantasy football team, you may want to consider selling high on Rice while he is on an upward trend. Simply, Rice is unlikely to dominate snaps on this offense. Although Rice has the potential to be a top-20 wide receiver, he is not likely to get significant enough playing time with the Chiefs to make him a top-24 option. Therefore, it might be a good idea to trade him for a player who can with more upside.

Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt

Fantasy football managers may want to consider adding Kareem Hunt to their team after his impressive performance against the Indianapolis Colts. Hunt's last-minute touchdown helped the Browns secure a win and earned him 15 fantasy football points. However, if managers can afford to do without Hunt, it may be wise to sell him high while his value is at its peak. It's worth noting, Jerome Ford's injury will likely only sideline him for a couple weeks.

Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard

In Week 6, Chuba Hubbard replaced the injured Miles Sanders and had a phenomenal game, rushing for 88 yards and scoring a touchdown, earning 16 fantasy football points. Due to a bye, the Carolina Panthers did not play in Week 7, but they will face the Texans in Week 8. If Sanders remains out, Hubbard is expected to start again, and he is an excellent option to sell high while he is getting playing time. It is not guaranteed that Hubbard will see the same amount of snaps once Sanders is back and healthy.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr

Derek Carr has been playing with a shoulder injury, but he has still managed to score at least 15 fantasy football points in each of the last three games. In Week 8, the New Orleans Saints will be playing against the Indianapolis Colts, and Carr may be a good option for fantasy football managers who are looking for a player with high potential.

If you manage a Fantasy Football team and have a dependable quarterback, it may be wise to consider trading Carr, especially since he's currently playing through an injury and every game is a gamble.

Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid

During the game against the Patriots, Dalton Kincaid made eight receptions for 75 yards for the Bills, earning him a total of 15 points in fantasy football. With Dawson Knox out for the rest of the season, Kincaid is expected to start and this provides a great opportunity for fantasy football managers to sell him to other managers who are in need of a reliable tight end that can help them score some fantasy football points.
