Fantasy Bundesliga tips: 10 players to consider for Matchday 10
In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious picks such as Florian Wirtz and Harry Kane.
Instead, we will highlight players with a maximum ownership percentage of 20%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 10.
Nnamdi Collins, Eintracht Frankfurt (Defender, 4M, 0%)
After impressing as a substitute in the DFB-Pokal, Collins started at right-back against Bochum in the absence of the injured Rasmus Kristensen. He put in another fine performance, racking up a whopping 347 points, and should therefore be in with a good chance of retaining his place against Stuttgart.
Derrick Köhn, Werder Bremen (Defender, 8M, 0%)
Werder will be determined to bounce back from the painful 4-1 defeat they suffered to Gladbach last week when they host Holstein Kiel at home in a game they should be favored to win. With Mitchell Weiser suspended, Derrick Köhn is expected to start at wing-back, and having already found the net once in the league this season, he could prove to be a great differential this week.
Dimitrios Giannoulis, Augsburg (Defender, 9M, 1%)
Costing a million more, Augsburg wing-back Dimitrios Giannoulis is another interesting differential pick this week. Averaging a respectable 143 points per game, Giannoulis could have a productive game against a very inconsistent Hoffenheim side, who may have tired legs after their Europa League clash with Olympique Lyon.
Alphonso Davies, Bayern (Defender, 17M, 4%)
It may have flown under the radar a little, but Davies has actually stepped up his game considerably in Fantasy terms this season. The Canada international has scored well over 200 points per game in his last six outings and will now be unleashed against newly-promoted St. Pauli.
Alexis Claude-Maurice, Augsburg (Midfielder, 6M, 8%)
At just 6 million, Claude-Maurice looks like one of the best value picks this week. The Frenchman actually plays as a striker, has four goals and an assist in six games this season and is playing at home against a Hoffenheim side that haven't impressed this season.
Romano Schmid, Werder Bremen (Midfielder, 10M, 7%)
Although Werder lost 4-1 last week, Schmid still managed to pick up a very acceptable 198 points. He's generally been in fine Fantasy form of late, scoring at least 173 points in each of his last five games. With Werder at home to Kiel, he looks like a great option for the price.
Joshua Kimmich, Bayern (Midfielder, 15M, 9%)
In a week where it's difficult to predict Bayern's starting lineup, Kimmich is a safe route into their midfield. The Germany international has scored over 200 points in each of his last seven games and usually plays 90 minutes.
Phil Harres, Holstein Kiel (Striker, 3M, 0%)
Harres got his first Bundesliga start last week and impressed, scoring 173 points despite not being involved in any goals. Now he'll face a Werder team that just conceded four goals against Gladbach, and at just 3 million, he's a good option if you need a budget striker.
Marvin Ducksch, Werder Bremen (Striker, 10M, 6%)
Werder's attacking talisman has four goals and five assists in 11 games this season and will be hard to ignore heading into this week's home game against Kiel.
Victor Boniface, Leverkusen (Striker, 18M, 7%)
The fourth-best performing striker in Fantasy Bundesliga behind Kleindienst, Kane and Marmoush so far, Boniface will face a Bochum side in free fall. At the same time, Leverkusen will be determined to make a statement and get back to winning ways in style after drawing 0-0 with Stuttgart and losing 4-0 to Liverpool.
