Fans loved seeing Chiefs’ Travis Kelce run a ‘playground’ route vs. Ravens

The Chiefs didn’t have to lean heavily on tight end Travis Kelce’s pass-catching to beat the Ravens on Thursday night.

But Kelce did make an impact with his blocking, particularly on Xavier Worthy’s touchdown run in the first quarter.

And when quarterback Patrick Mahomes set the Chiefs franchise record for career passing yards in the first half, he did it with an off-script 23-yard pass to Kelce.

Mahomes eluded the Ravens’ rush and bought time to get the ball to Kelce. Videos shared on social media show how Kelce never stopped moving and eluded the Baltimore defense.

Check out this route, which is unlikely to be drawn up that way in the Chiefs playbook.
