'Plant Guy' celebrates Raptors championship with odd housewarming gift for Kawhi Leonard

The only question remaining on everyone’s mind... he stay?

One dedicated Toronto Raptors fan is doing whatever he can to ensure Kawhi Leonard feels at home if the two-time Finals MVP decides to stay in Toronto.

During the chaos of the celebration in downtown Toronto, this young — and rather drunk — man stood out by carrying a massive plant through the city. He’s now affectionately known as “Plant Guy,” and New Balance might want to get that on a t-shirt real quick.

Clearly Plant Guy had a few too many trips to the watering hole before Thursday’s celebration, but nevertheless, he was very enthusiastic about finding Kawhi and giving him this wonderful present. Very Canadian.

When asked what type of plant he was carrying, Plant Guy dubbed it a Kawhi-cactus, or a Kawactus. It must be a new species of plant that botanists have yet to discover.
