Yahoo Sports ‘Fake news!’ Victor Osimhen agent strongly denies Chelsea transfer reports
The agent representing Victor Osimhen has called reports of a swap deal with Chelsea in the summer transfer window a ‘fantasy’.
The Blues were said to be in ‘ongoing discussions’ with Napoli over a deal for the striker which would see Romelu Lukaku head in the other direction.
The move would see the Belgian forward join the Gli Azzurri in a permanent transfer, while Osimhen would initially join Chelsea on loan with an option to buy.
However, the Nigeria international’s representative, Roberto Calenda, has poured cold water on that notion with some explosive comments.

“I read about ‘fantasy exchanges’ with Victor… as if he was a package to be delivered quickly,” he said (via Fabrizio Romano).
“This package is the top scorer of the third Scudetto in the history of Napoli. Respect and stop fake news!”
Osimhen rose to prominence in 2022/23 when he scored 25 Serie A goals to help Napoli lift the Scudetto. He was less effective last season, finding the net 15 times as the club finished 10th in the table.
The 25-year-old has also been linked with moves to Arsenal and PSG.
