An NHL docuseries pulling back the curtain on the league's top stars and thrilling storylines is coming back for a second season – and it's Brady Tkachuk's turn in the spotlight.

Prime Video renewed the Faceoff: Inside the NHL docuseries for another season. Six new episodes of the series will be released in 2025.

"The first season of Faceoff resonated strongly with our audience, and we're excited to continue our partnership with Box To Box and NHL Productions to deliver more of the raw emotion and behind-the-scenes action that hockey fans crave," Shaun Alperin, head of content for Prime Video in Canada, said in a press release.

This season will also feature some different players from the inaugural episodes, which were released in October. The docuseries followed superstars Connor McDavid, William Nylander, David Pastrnak, Matthew Tkachuk and others, capturing competitive moments and emotion with mic'd up footage.

Now, fans will get behind-the-scenes access to Matthew Tkachuk's brother, Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk. The younger Tkachuk appeared in the third episode of the first season, profiling Matthew Tkachuk and their father, former longtime NHLer Keith Tkachuk.

Brady Tkachuk, 25, has emerged as one of the NHL's top power forwards, recording 15 goals, 32 points, 130 shots on goal and 117 hits in 31 games so far this season.

Other players joining the Senators captain will be announced sometime in the future.

"There’s never a dull moment in this league, and we cannot wait to take audiences even further into the dynamic, high-octane world we introduced them to in Season 1,” said Paul Martin, co-founder of Box To Box.

Like the first season, the second will only be on Amazon's Prime Video.

For this season, Prime Video in Canada has also hosted Monday Night Hockey, streaming national regular-season games exclusively on Monday nights, and NHL Coast to Coast, a studio show showcasing live cut-ins to the games, interviews and analysis on Thursdays.
