Since Ngumoha is only 16 years old, the deal has not been a straightforward one to finalise for The Reds.
The club had to go through the Premier League’s five-step investigation process, which involved interviews with Ngumoha’s parents.
It was reported that it could take up to four weeks to complete but now Liverpool are set to officially confirm the arrival of the Chelsea youngster soon.
Liverpool are the only side in the top five European Leagues yet to make a signing as sporting director Richard Hughes predicted there to be a quiet July.

However, he also stated there to be movement in August which is just around the corner so Ngumoha could be the first of a few for Liverpool. Slot also said that he would be surprised if he did not see some new signings come through the door.
Even though Ngumoha isn’t a typical first-team signing, with how Liverpool have operated in recent seasons it can certainly be deemed as one.
The number of youngsters who have come through and proven they are up to the task was emphasised in the Carabao Cup final last season.
In Slot’s first official game against Real Betis, it was further seen in action with Trey Nyoni. So the Ngumoha capture is set to be some shrewd business from Liverpool.
